About VTFF
Established in 2014
Many years ago Vermont Field and Fence was just me as a young kid working on our family horse farm fence in Hinesburg, VT. A few years later I decided to leave the corporate world behind to work this business full-time. We now install new fence systems all over Chittenden County, Addison County, Washington County, Lamoille County, Franklin County and Grand Isle Counties. We are an official installer partner with Ramm fence as well. I have a lot of pride in the work that we do and enjoy being a local and a partner with many of the horse farms and residential customers in our area. Please see our Google reviews for testimonies.

How We Operate
Post installation varies between driven posts and auger holes depending on the fence style and use. Posts driven into the ground have much more pulling power and is essential to a lot of large animal hi-tensile fencing.
For rail fence and many other styles, the holes will be dug with an auger. We do use a small machine on tracks for small residential yards to minimize ground impact.
Here is a look at how we drive round posts (up to 8" in diameter) in the ground with ease
